Design and manufacturing technology
D.D.Step offers high-quality footwear for toddlers and children. The properly selected footwear can establish the healthy life in young ages and for further life. When designing our D.D.Step products we have always been highly motivated to create comfortable and healthy shoes.
Our aim is to produce trendy, fashionable and more importantly anatomically right, comfortable children shoes. Our shoes allow the feet and toes to move freely yet guarantee maximum protection, so the children can happily play and carry out their daily activities.
When making D.D.Step shoes, the latest technologies of shoe production are combined with classic craftsmanship. Most of our shoes are made with 3D stitching technology, thus minimizing the use of glue, the use chemicals.
RAW MATERIALS
Shoes play a very important role in the comfort feeling of feet. We pay a great attention to the raw materials used for shoes. The high quality natural leather provides tenderness and softness for the users.
LIGHT, FLEXIBLE, NON-SLIP RUBBER OUTSOLE
D.D.Step soles are made from natural rubber. Pure rubber guarantees durability and flexibility. The physical impact- resistant outsole provides long usability, yet the shoes are light, do not burden children's feet. Flexibility of the outsole allows the shoes to accomodate the feet without constraints.
HIGH QUALITY LEATHER UPPER
All D.D.Step products are made from genuine quality leather.
First class cowhide leathers are carefully selected in order to use the proper thickness parts for the uppers. It will result a perfect children's footwear by the end of the manufacturing process.
PROTECTIVE TOE CAP
The shape of the toe cap provides ultimate protection while leaving the toes to move safely. The adequate height of the toe cap ensures the freedom of the foot.
REINFORCED HEEL SUPPORT
Interior stiffener guarantees the best holding and the long-lasting reinforced heel support. The shaped PVC stiffener is positioned between upper and lining, not in contact with kid's feet, however supports the heel bone at right angles.
INSOLES
The components we use meet high quality standards. The inner lining and the cover of the insole are made from soft leather to ensure natural contact with the feet.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
We have always been paying great attention to the outstanding quality of our products. It is very important for us to provide healthy environment for the future generations. Exclusion of harmful substances is essential characteristics of each and every component. The exclusion of hazardous chemicals is regularly checked in laboratories according to European Union standards. We have been dedicating to improve our production with fewer chemicals and minimisation of environmental impact. Our shoe boxes are made of 100% recycled paper, which saves hundreds of trees every year.
